Meet The Face Behind Mako Consultants Inc.
I’m Jeremiah Johnson, the proud co-owner of Mako Consultants Inc.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I worked as a manager at Lowe’s, but after eight years, I decided that I wanted to move in a different direction. So, I answered an ad on Zip Recruiter for a sales and marketing entry-level job, and after nailing the interview, I began my new career.
I loved the environment, culture, and avenues for growth that my new role presented, so I kept my head down and worked hard. Not before too long, I started to receive praise for my work ethic, and I was offered the chance to manage a branch of my own, which I accepted gladly.
Since starting with the company, four and a half years ago, it’s improved significantly in areas such as pay and training. I also love how we have incorporated virtual platforms to recruit and develop the right people.
I feel that everyone can be great as long as they have access to the same opportunities in life. Consequently, I think that I have a huge responsibility to maintain equality in our company and render exemplary coaching.
I’ve always been an athlete, so I love how this field relates to sports in terms of taking on the competition, team building, and leadership training.
Besides, I love empowering others, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart is that I have a student mentality and can relate to my young team. I care about every member and ensure that they are surrounded by like-minded people to achieve their specific goals.
As a result, I work with transparency, which has built up my integrity and has led to reward and recognition. I won the Rookie Manager of the Year award after successfully running the number one office on two separate campaigns, which was fulfilling.
When I am not creating marketing campaigns, my hobbies include playing golf, and I also love to spend quality time raising my six-month-old son, Beckham. When I was young, I didn’t always have everything I desired, so I want to make sure that my family gets the best.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
